Respiratory Therapy
Respiratory Care provides a variety of respiratory care treatments and diagnostic tests for patients of all ages from newborns to seniors. Our respiratory therapists and nurses provide support in the Emergency Room, OB, Surgery, and with skilled patients.
Diagnostic testing methods:
- Holter monitoring
- 30-day Cardiac Event Recording
- Overnight oximeter checks to evaluate your need for oxygen at-home or to re-qualify for oxygen through insurance
- Pulse oximetry
- Pulmonary function testing to evaluate the condition of a patient’s lungs
- Sleep studies to evaluate risk and/or severity of sleep apnea
Therapies include:
- Pulmonary rehab for patients with COPD or who have had COVID
- Inhaled medications
- Chest physical therapy
- Breathing exercises and retraining
