Respiratory Therapy

Respiratory Care provides a variety of respiratory care treatments and diagnostic tests for patients of all ages from newborns to seniors. Our respiratory therapists and nurses provide support in the Emergency Room, OB, Surgery, and with skilled patients.

Diagnostic testing methods:

  • Overnight oximeter checks to evaluate your need for oxygen at-home or to re-qualify for oxygen through insurance
  • Pulmonary function testing to evaluate the condition of a patient’s lungs
  • Sleep studies to evaluate risk and/ or severity of sleep apnea either at home or in lab at the hospital 

  • Electrocardiograms

  • Pulmonary rehab

  • Smoking cessation counseling

Inpatient therapies include:

  • Non-invasive ventilation
  • High flow oxygen with Vapotherm

  • Chest physiotherapy

  • Inhaled medications
